WOOF! 06 Jake The Muss 07 Mr Nasty Time 08 Chump. The gap between awesome and gen-eric is, er, quite small. It would take very little for Hand of Mercy to make the jump. At the moment, unfortunately, they look like a cover band. It is very difficult to watch them go through the motions and not be reminded of a dozen other bands. They sound good, they only need to lose the stock standard "metalcore" dance moves to make it, imo.

(One day I'll manage to work out how long one bar of battery power lasts!) Weird how you give something away for free, (Lost My Nerve and Under Your Bed) and people still manage to ignore/avoid it. I reckon only 2-3 people were fans enough to become familiar with the new stuff, and in the picture is the only other person I could see.

Coda - Annandale Hotel - Dec 2008 - "Superpod"

Sydney band Coda, live at the Annandale, play "Superpod" from their Calling Mission Mu album. This was a brilliant night, where they mixed old favourites Rocking Horse, Superpod, Miss Bliss, etc with new material featuring amazing singer Michelle Martinez (see other clips). Coda continue to reinvent themselves, love the new bassist, great feel, sorry Jared's new Split-Enz style hair doesn't show in the clips, he's hidden behind the cymbals. Naomi & Nick keep up the great work, continue to believe. Michelle just awesome.
