The BMW E30 is quickly becoming a cult classic among the DIY, autocross, and track crowd. And though the M3 version may be climbing so quickly in price, soon no one will be able to afford one, the 325i, as it turns out, has some chops as a great platform for tuning. This week on /DRIVE: Matt Farah drives a home-built turbocharged E30 BMW 325is on /TUNED, JF Musial follows how the Bentley Mulsanne engine comes to life on /INSIDE BENTLEY, and Mike Spinelli provides a few reasons to not hate electric cars on AFTER/DRIVE.

The new 991 Turbo S is a very expensive car. So expensive it probably needs to fend-off more exotic machinery like a yellow McLaren. This could get messy.

Matt and Zack take the 2014 Mini Cooper Works GP to the Silver State Classic, an open road challenge in the Nevada desert. It started out as a good idea, but doesn't exactly go well, as the organizers want us to go slowly, and when driving a Mini GP, the only thing you can do is go fast as hell. To anyone this offends, we're sorry (but not really).

Dave Brown likes to do things differently. So, rather than build an R-STi like everyone else, he spent over two years at his shop Fast of Westchester turning his 1998 Subaru Legacy into a perfect JDM Tuner Car, right down to the rare Twin-Turbo engine. This is how subtlety should be done.

Edwards started racing at the age of eleven taking part in karting competitions.
After gaining fourth place in the 2003 British Formula Ford Championship, he gained 5th in the 2004 Formula Renault UK, and fifth in the 2005 British GT Championship.
Moving to Monaco, he then undertook drives in various years of the FIA GT3 European Championship, the Porsche Supercup (latterly with Team Allyouneed) and the American Le Mans Series (with MOMO NGT Motorsport).
In May 2013 he won the Nurburgring 24 Hours, his first major victory in endurance racing, driving a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 alongside Bernd Schneider, Jeroen Bleekemolen and Nicki Thiim.
One of the first professional racing drivers to embrace Sim racing as a means of development and training, in 2012 he assisted with the racing scenes in Ron Howard's film Rush, about the battle between James Hunt and Niki Lauda in the 1976 Formula One season. The younger Edwards also portrayed his father in several scenes of the film, the latter being among the drivers who pulled Lauda from the burning wreckage of his formula one racing car during the 1976 German Grand Prix.
