PS4 Crazies Sell Their Own System Short

Pokémon X and Y - Why the mad?

I never imagined that gamers would lash out against GameFreak and Nintendo for "screwing their customers" by making Pokémon X and Y 3DS exclusive when there was earlier outrage when Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 were announced to be Nintendo DS games and people then ALSO accused Nintendo and GameFreak of "screwing their customers."

PETA Endorses Team Plasma!

PETA's latest campaign has endorsed Team Plasma's message of Pokémon Liberation and has likened it to PETA's real life struggle to advance a radical animal liberation agenda.

In the same campaign, PETA also went to great lengths to mention that the founder of Team Plasma is an evil hypocrite that lies about wanting to help Pokémon so that he can control and deceive people for his own personal benefit.

Some Furries Need to Chill Out

Someone just responded to a video I made over four years ago about how a furry who went on a TV talk show deserved to get spite-banned from a major furry website because they "misrepresented the fandom".

Whatever dude. Its freaking cartoon animals. It's not so serious that I should be getting comments about it more FOUR YEARS after this even happened.

Most of these guys I've dealt with over the years are pretty chill, even if some of them like to attract negative attention to themselves just so they can complain about it, or if a few I've run across can't tell when someone isn't interested in seeing art of their centuar cat character with 20 tits, they're generally alright, but others just need to chill out in general.

Akins "Legitimate Rape" Quote Reflects Trend of Denialism

Todd Akin's infamous already infamous comments have shocked many, but they haven't shocked me. I'm more than anything shocked that people didn't already see this coming from a mile away because LAWS EMBRACING THE MINDSET OF AKIN'S STATEMENTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN DRAFTED AND PUT UP FOR CONGRESSIONAL CONSIDERATION IN THIS COUNTRY.

As far as the basic human rights and total freedom of people are concerned, the United States is lightyears ahead of many countries in the world today.

However, they are still many, many things seriously wrong with American society that I feel our culture and the mainstream commercial media have agreed to simply deny are serious problems.

For instance, I've seen American news sites explicitly cover horrendous details in cases of sexual abuse, and persecution of victims out of the Middle-East and northern Africa, where American audiences boo and hiss at "those people", yet equivalent stories to those have emerged right here in the US have more horrifying details glossed over when the news describes it under a non-specific banner of "assault" or "abuse", if it gets covered in the news at all, and it's not treated in anywhere close to the same level of abject horror as "human rights violations" that the equivalent Middle-Eastern cases were treated with.

These horrible sorts of things happen in America too, the sooner the projection and finger pointing at other parts of the world begins the sooner American can grow and better itself as a country.

Wii U - Unreal Engine 4 Support Confirmed

Well, maybe "confirmed" is technically true, but "possible" is probably more accurate at this point.

According to Mark Rein, Wii U will be fully capable of supporting mutiplatform games running on Unreal Engine 4, though he also says that Unreal Engine 3 is a more ideal fit for the system. Keep in mind that Unreal Engine 3 has already been shown to be capable of nex-gen graphics that totally smoke the 7th gen HD systems.

Looks like my earlier predictions, made when Wii U's potential to support UE4 was in serious doubt was correct.

Bookstore Bans Men From Kids Section?

A man is accusing a Barnes & Noble store of sex bias, after he says he was ejected from a store as a potential sex offender for shopping in the children's section, and was told that he was violating a store policy under which men aren't allowed to be in the children's section by themselves.

Neither the management of the location in question, or Barnes & Noble corporate have made public statements on the accusation, and the man is seeking an apology and considering legal action.

Portable Games Need Subtitles!

I downloaded the demo of "Order Up" for Nintendo 3DS handheld.

You don't make a portable game with voice overs but have no option for subtitles.

It's a serious oversight that effects the usability of the game considering gamers can be expected to take the system into places they can't have the volume up.

One of my college psychology textbooks places "playing computer games" in the same category as exterminating Jews and abusing children, and then goes on to say that being a gamer and being a good, productive person who creates artwork and does charity work are mutually exclusive to each other!
