Hace unos días atrás terminé "To The Moon", un juego cortito e indie. Llegué a él porque me sugirieron para mi repertorio la canción vocal del juego, "Everything's Alright". Me pareció una canción muy bonita y emotiva, por eso a los días de aprenderla ya estaba tratando de grabarla.

Estoy bastante conforme con el resultado, creo que en cierta forma pude dejar plasmado mi estilo en ella.

"Te amo tanto como lo triste que estoy" es la traducción de la canción de ZARD que fue usada como el Ending número 24 de Detective Conan. En algún momento de mi vida, me sentí identificada con lo que la canción transmitía, y por eso decidí adaptarla al español. Además, me parece que la canción es preciosa.

Nunca había tenido la oportunidad de poder mostrarla, y cantarla en la presentación final de la Academia de Canto donde tengo clases me pareció una buena idea.

Como dije antes de cantar, "Adaptando esta canción aprendí que en verdad se puede amar (ser correspondida) y sufrir por ello a la vez. Afortunadamente, esta situación no puede perdurar, y ahora sólo guardo la nostalgia de cantarla."

At some point of my life I felt related to this statement, and that's why I decided to make a Spanish Version of it. Besides, I think this tune is beautiful.

I never had the change of singing it before, so I sang it at the Academy of Singing I assist to, during the end of semester presentation.

As I said for the introduction of the song "While traslating this song I learnt you can really love someone, be loved in return and suffer while at it. Fortunately enough, this can't go on forever. Now I only treasure the nostalgia of singing it."

This is Sally's Song, from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas, but Amy Lee's version.
It's not perfect, and I know I'm not her NOR I'm trying to imitate her.

A finales de Noviembre del año pasado, esta canción reapareció en mi cabeza luego de muuucho tiempo de haberla escuchado por primera vez. Debe haber sido porque describía bastante bien lo que sentía en ese tiempo. Por eso, hace un tiempo que quería grabarla.

Esta es "La Canción de Sally" de la película "El Extraño Mundo de Jack" (The Nightmare Before Christmas), pero la versión hecha por Amy Lee. Tiene sus pifias, sé que no soy ella NI estoy tratando de imitarla.

Perdón por los malos efectos XD... simplemente quise agregar algo para que el video no se viera tan plano :P.

This was some sort of request from the admin of Jun's official website, Martin aka SoA. Thanks for showing me this song!

In case you knew this song from before, you might have noticed it's a bit different - yep, it's half a tone higher, so I could get the lower notes.

I shouted a lot, and sometimes it doesn't sound all that nice... please bear with me and I hope you can enjoy it anyway.

El grabarla fue por una especie de request que me hizo el Admin de la página oficial de Jun, Martin aka SoA. ¡Gracias por haberme mostrado esta canción ^^!

Si habían escuchado esta canción antes, puede que hayan notado la melodía un poco rara - sí, la subí medio tono para poder alcanzar las notas más bajas.

Grité un montón... y a veces no suena tan agradable... espero no les suene tan mal y que puedan disfrutar el cover de todas formas ^^U.

Although Kouji Wada is one of my favourite singers, I've never done a cover of his before.

Kouji-sensei was coming to Chile on October 15th. Sadly, the concert was canceled yesterday because he's ill, with cancer...

After getting to know this, I thought I had to do something. It may not be the best cover out there... but I really wish Kouji a fast recovery.

This is Butter-Fly, first Op for Digimon Adventures. This is the piano version.

A pesar de ser uno de mis cantantes favoritos, nunca antes había grabado alguna canción de Kouji Wada. Y, ahora, es por una razón en particular.

El 15 de Octubre Koji-sensei se presentaría en Chile (yo ya tenía comprada mi entrada hace mucho). Sin embargo, ayer se canceló el concierto.
Koji fue diagnosticado con cáncer, de nuevo...

Luego de esta noticia, quise hacer algo. No será el mejor cover del mundo... pero realmente le deseo una pronta mejora, y que todo salga bien.

After being sick for a whole month, going from the flu to laringyntis to a cold to a sinus infection... I'm back, but still coping with the "hangover".
I've been quite eager to upload something new, but since I was sick for such a long time my voice is still not 100% well.

This is Gravity from "Wolf's Rain" originally sung by Maaya Sakamoto. Haven't seen the anime myself, but I still love the song.

I'M TERRIBLY SORRY for the background noise I'm getting... but I still don't know how to get rid of it... so please bear with me.

I remember Darkwing Duck as being one of my first masked heroes, though I was too young to remember something of the story behind it.
This is a very special request made for my boyfriend on Saint Valentine's day. He actually asked me to record and I chose this date. So I'm more concerned 'bout his opinion... but I hope you all can enjoy it anyway.
Yes, I made all the voices, even the cheesy chorus XD. The "Let's Get Dangerous" lines would have sound better if I just have left the original ones, but I really wanted to provide all the voices.

Este es el tema de "El Pato DARWING" como le llamaban en español, porque la verdad que la pronunciación de la k y la g seguidas se hace un poco compleja, especialmente en nuestro idioma.
Recuerdo a este pato de antifaz como uno de mis primeros héroes enmascarados de la infancia, pero era muy pequeña como para recordar la trama de la serie.
Este es un request muy especial hecho por mi pololo (novio). Aunque me sugirió que lo hiciese para "su cumpleaños" yo elegí que la fecha fuera San Valentín =P. Aunque mi principal motivación es que a él le guste, espero que uds puedan disfrutarlo también!
Yo hice todas las voces, inclusos los coritos ridículos XD. Las frases de "Let's Get Dangerous" serían mejores si hubiese dejado las originales, pero en verdad quería hacer todas las voces yo.

Dicho eso, les cuento que éste es un cover que hice a pedido de Animikestudios. De todas formas, me entretuve bastante grabándolo; La Sirenita me recuerda a mi infancia, cuando en las vacaciones me ponía a cantar como Ariel a la orilla de la playa XD.

No tengo mucho más que agregar porque tengo un poco de sueño.

Hello! And welcome to a new year! As for my first recording, this is Un-Derground", my entry for Wrecks Factor 2010 singing competition. The explanation is there, but long story short, the idea was to take the lyrics of one Sonic song and fit them into another. So this is Crush 40's version of Un-gravitify with lyrics inspired on Sonic Underground's theme song lyrics.

Sorry for the lame video! I know using my picture during the solo it's not the best, but I couldn't help showing off my copy of The Best of Crush 40, signed by both the awesome Jun and my shining star, Johnny.

On a side note, Un-gravitify easily makes it into my Crush 40 top 5.

It's the first time I'm using PowerDirector for edition - it's a very lazy edit work from me, please bear with me. I used most of the OP and END scenes.
The audio was taken all in one shot (yes, it was awesome) and it has some effects and such, yet nothing was autotuned ;D .

La última escena del musical es definitivamente la más surrealista del musical. La escena comienza con todos los personajes (sí, todos) bailando y celebrando el triunfo de San Pablo. A la mitad de ésta, el aire se torna solemne, y entonces, en un giro aún más abstracto y atemporal, aparece la Virgen María (aquí comienza el video) y corona (en sentido figurado) a Pablo por su victoria.
Este es mi pequeño solo en el musical. No puedo estar conforme, y hubiese querido que saliera mejor... pero bueno, al menos creo que he mejorado un poco en lo que "en vivo" respecta.
¡Perdón por mi notoria respiración! El alma está en paz, pero el cuerpo siempre me traiciona (no caminé nada y se me acababa más rápido el aire al latir mi corazón más fuerte...).

The last scene of the musical is definitely the most surreal scene of them all. This last part called "The Journey's crowning" ("La coronación del Viaje") starts with each and every character dancing and celebrating Saint Paul's victory. By the middle of the song (that's when this video starts), the melody changes a bit, and the mood is solemn: in an even more surreal and non time-line turn, Virgin Mary appears and "crows" Paul for his victory.
Yeah, this my short solo :) . It didn't turn as good as I'd like it to be... but oh, well, I think I'm a bit better performing "live" than before (I think...). I'm sorry for my heavy breathing. It's kinda frustating how I lose air quickier... I'm walking at a really short pace, yet my heart is racing ¬¬.

Datos freak: No, cuando me eligieron para el papel, no sabía que mi genero favorito es el Rock XD. La canción era 2 tonos más alta antes y ahí si que sonaba "Heavy Metal" cuando gritaba para llegar al la nota más alta... sol5, no precisamente mi nota favorita ni mi registro habitual XD.
Para los fans de "El Jorobado de Notre Dame": Los saltos de octava: "So-porta las...", "Has comba-TIdo", son los mismos que hace Esmeralda en la canción "God Help the Outcasts" cuando dice "Children of GOD".
La nota más alta es la final de Clopin en "Bells".

Disclaimer (XD): Nope, they didn't know that my favourite music range is rock when they chose me for the role :P .
The original song was two tones higher (@.@) and it really sounded Heavy Metal like when I had to scream to get the former highest note... G5, not really my usual range.

HoND FANS: The highest note I sing is the last one that Clopin sings in "Bells". The octaves that I sing are the same that Esmeralda does by the end of "God Help the Outcasts" when she sings "Children of GOD".

Another seen from the Musical Theatre Play, this time scene 13, "The lament of the slaves" (El Lamento de los esclavos). This time there's lyrics translation, you can find the link above :).
In this scene, most of the cast in acting as a slave (I'm a slave there too).
The slaves are travelling in the darkest room of the ship that is taking Saint Paul to Rome, they are mourning of their poor luck. Paul (Green and purple outfit) is among them, since he's being taken as a prisoner. In the mean time, his friend, Lucas (brown outfit) sings to him about Virgin Mary.

Bueno, si vieron mi v-log (:P) sabrán que dije que subiría videos del musical donde participé.
El musical era sobre el "San Pablo" santo de la iglesia católica.
La historia comienza luego de que Pablo ha apelado al César, y es enviado a Roma para ser juzgado. La trama transcurre sobre el barco dónde viaja.
Allí se encuentra con marinos, soldados y mujeres.
En esta escena, las mujeres discuten sobre Pablo, pero mucho de lo que saben de él son sólo "Chismes". Livia (que canta sola a la mitad), la esposa del centurión encargada de llevar a Pablo a Roma es la primera en comenzar a creer en el Dios que predica Pablo, y trata de hacer notar a las mujeres que están equivocadas al pensar que Pablo es realmente un mentiroso y malvado.
Las mujeres se ríen de ella, piensan que es una loca y soñadora.
En su defensa llegan Emma (de naranja) y Celeris (de verde), que a pesar de que no quieren que se burlen de su amiga, creen que su fe en Pablo se debe sólo a lo soñadora que es.

En esta escena (y en otras que no subiré) hago de una de las mujeres que viajan en el barco.

As announced in my v-log (:P) I said I'll be uploading videos from the musical theatre play I took part in.
The play was about "Saint Paul", saint of the Catholic Church.
The story starts when Paul is sent to Rome to be judged by the Caesar, and it takes place inside the ship he's travelling to Rome, along with sailors, soldiers and women.
In this scene, women are discussing about who Paul is, but most of the things they know are just "Gossips" (Chismes).
In the middle of the scene, Livia (in lavender costume), tries to show the women how mistaken they are about Paul, since she's the first one to start believing in Paul's god. The women, however, believe Paul is a criminal, and laugh at her.
Emma (in orange dress) and Celeris (in green dress) arrive later to stand for Livia. They believe their friend is just a dreamer. Yet, they don't believe in Paul's innocence either.

In this scene (and in some others I won't be uploading), as you may have noticed, I am one of the women (yellow) who are talking about Paul.

Long time no see!
Well, I actually recorded this video about a month ago, but I was a bit shy to upload it.
It basically explains the two reasons that kept me from doing new covers all of this time.
I'll be uploading the videos I tell you in the video (parts of the musical theatre play I participated in) the next days, and I swear before Mid November you will have some new recordings.
And as I said... I'm not sure about Endless Possibilities, I think my voice does not fit it. I'll try another approach though.

Este video fue grabado hace ya un mes, pero me daba un poco de vergüenza subirlo.
Lo grabé a mitad de Septiembre para contarles "un poco más personalmente" porque estuve ausente hasta ahora.
En los próximos días subiré los videos que tengo del musical en que los comento que participé.
Les juro que pronto habrá cosas nuevas! Ya a mitad de Noviembre debería haber algo.

Vaya, hace tiempo que no me aparecía en video ^^U.
Hace muuucho tiempo, allá por el 2 de Noviembre del año pasado, phantomkltz1 me pidió que cantara esta canción. Nunca la había escuchado antes, pero llegué a encariñarme bastante con ella ^^.
"No lo Ves" es la versión en español hecha por el grupo de doblaje "Charm" (busquen su canal en youtube) de la canción "Don't you See?" de Zard, un Ending de Dragon Ball GT.
Por favor, discúlpenme por la calidad del video, no tengo la camara de video, así que tuve que usar mi cámara digital.
El audio fue tomada durante la grabación de la imagen, pero como siempre, fue editado en efecto y volumenes.

It's been a while since I last showed up in youtube :O.
This is a request made loooong ago by phantomkltz1. I'd never heard this tune before, but now I really like it. I also feel quite reflected in part of the lyrics.
"No lo Ves" it's the Spanish version made by Charm dubbing group of the song "Don't you See?", one of the endings from Dragon Ball GT, originally sung by Zard.
The image quality it's not that good... I don't have the video camera right now, so I had to use my digital camera =P.
The audio was taken while I was recording the video and it was edited (volume, effects and that stuff) after.
