So as I lay in a dead sleep at about 7:30am, I heard this god-awful sound. I thought one of our cats had fallen off the stairs or something and seriously hurt himself. I jumped up and ran down the hallway to see our cat Caesar completely fluffed up and making this hilarious sound. My best guess is that Caesar was asleep and Truman (golden retriev) must of stepped on his tail or something, pissing him off. Hilarity ensues.
What's awesome is that all 4 of our animals get along great. As soon as I had let the dogs outside and back in, Caesar had calmed down and was loving on all of us.
Dobby, our bob-tail kitteh also woke up at the commotion and came up to investigate.
The weather is warming up, so it's time to change that old oil! This is a pretty simple and straightforward walk through of changing the oil and oil filter on a 2008 Yamaha R6. Feel free to follow this guide but please also consult your owner's manual or maintenance guide if you have any questions about maintenance for your motorcycle. While this guide is specific to an '08 Yamaha R6, the same concept generally applies to a wide range of bikes.
- Items needed checklist -
At least 2.75 qt of oil changing oil filter.
2.54 qt if not changing oil filter.
Oil filter (OEM)
68mm oil filter wrench
3/4" standard socket wrench for the Oil filter wrench
17mm wrench or socket
10mm wrench or socket
Funnel
Shop rags
Nitrile Gloves (or mechanics gloves) - optional but highly recommended
Oil drain pan that can hold at least 3 qt

I know the third part has been a long time comin, but here she is ladies and gents!
The first part of the story about my drive to Texas in which my car decided to start filling with smoke when I was halfway through Oklahoma.
So I cut a lot out of this video and it's probably for the best. It was just endless ramblings about nonsense and it was pretty boring. I had plenty of people request I put the second half of this video up, so finally, here it is mateys! Enjoy.
Some new happenins! Apologies for the video delay :)
Cyrus is a 10 week old Rhodesian Ridgeback and is already over 15lbs. He should grow to somewhere between 70-90lbs! :D
Caesar is a 6 week old cat that will be a pimp.
Went on a group ride and it turned out to not be that exciting. The group was pretty unorganized from the start as you can see with people leaving other people behind.
The first of a multi-video set Explaining some of the current happenins and also why I do what I do.... instead of what people "think" and "expect" me to do.
So I debated about whether to upload this video or not being as the video itself was rather boring. I just wanted to show people that there are definitely decent people in the police force.
Was I being a dumbass? Yes
Did I deserve to be pulled over? Yes
Regardless of what you think about the video, this guy could have made me had a really bad day but instead turned it into a positive and safe stop. Which I am forever grateful for.
Some people have said I wouldn't of acted as nice or uploaded the video had I gotten a ticket.
Had a ticket been issued, I would have paid for my actions and went on with life, I wouldn't have gone on a horrible rant or been angry, he's just doing his job.
On the way to work this morning, there was ANOTHER multi-vehicle accident in the same place as my DMV Accident vid. Pretty crazy out there, be safe peoples and pay attention!
kthxbai
Was on my way back from the DMV when I saw an accident right in front of me. Lucky I wasn't in the intersection when it happened! Recorded when I passed back by to go to work.
I had someone try to hunt me down this morning! Not good, not good at all :(
Another night of famous sams. They had some sweet mini moto gp races goin on.
Tall guys on tiny bikes = awesome
I finally decided to make this video public since I get asked about my helmet cam setup almost daily. So there you have it, my setup.
In early 2011 I will be changing my entire setup though and most likely will go with the POV HD setup. So expect better quality footage, and video content!
Some tips that will save your life while on a motorcycle!
RIP all that have fallen, and be safe those that are still on 2!
A vid showing the gear that SpunkyFL and the SpunkyFL(girlfriend) use.
My specs -
Main Helm - Scorpion Exo 1000 Apollo
Main Armor - Fieldsheer Mach 7
Gloves - Leather with carbon fiber knuckles, steel riveted palms
Backup Helm - Gmax GM68S (flat black)
Her specs -
Main Helm - Shark S650 Helmet
Main Armor - Joe Rocket Womens Cleo 2.0 Jacket
We ALWAYS wear our gear. I would rather sweat than bleed. Be safe people and remember, WEAR YOUR GEAR..... it's not for just looking cool.
SpunkyFL in jail, oh noes!
Not really, I just had to go pay $10 for my warrant for the ticket I got for "following to close". Unfortunately, since it was Saturday and the court wasn't open, the only way for me to get a court date was to go to the police station, get booked, pay my $10 bond and receive my new date.
Silly court systems.
Just a little back story of the two times I've ever been down on a bike. The first was unfortunate road conditions and the second was my own stupidity! :)

A video answering a question asked about why I chose an R6.. along with what bike(s) I would want if I could have anything.
Went to check out the new bike night at a Famous Sams bar and grill down south. It was a lot more tame than I was expecting. Some good riding though and it didn't rain!

A video of some tips about being a passenger on a sport bike. I know in the video I make a lot of reference to the passenger being a girl... being as this is usually the case, I don't mean to stereotype... to much :-)
A response video to Iroquois14's video about showing your chicken strips. So here it is!
Some basic tips to think about when you're riding.
